Considering the cars in your class Graham you should be very happy with that, the winner looked like it was from a different class completely.
Nicely done :)

Neil, I believe that is Simon McKinley’s famous white Escort, the star of many a YouTube vid. It may have been his father Peter driving it, as sadly Simon is no longer with us, as he he was killed at a hillclimb 8 years ago.
Cheers

Got the ST out of it's 8 month hibernation and cleared it's throat down to Beaulieu. Nice day. :)

I opened a box from Design911. Looks like it might be pressure on for Le Mans Classic as my flaky pal is being flaky again...

That is super sad. Strangely, I was addressing, and introducing, him as Simon all the time and that is how he introduced himself to others.

Very nice and helpful man

Back home. The only two scares where me missed our first Ferry ( that cost £330) and a French lorry driver, in a service station, trying to reverse into us and kill us. We were blocked in by a car behind but thank goodness they reversed too.

Came back via the Mont St Michel Bay and Bayeux

More detailed write up coming as I promised to do something for the 356 Registry ImageImage

Me too.

Fitted a new ARB drop link to the 964 this morning, then during lunch my 15mm steering wheel spacer dropped through the letterbox so I've just whacked that on. Trying to muster up the energy to do more stuff now.

Started the process of making up adjustable spring plates for my '12 using a combination of the later splined adjusters and custom made shorter spring plates.

Getting the rubber donuts off was a bit of a chore. One side assembled, will do the remaining one tonight and hopefully fit on friday night.

Hopefully the original spring plates will come off the torsion bars easily... I suspect not.
