Been watching this from the start. Just how many more of these interesting cars are going to surface in Scotland?

Restoration costs just as much as an S but will the unique year features (seemingly complete) and premium for the colour be enough to tip £20k?

Find me another in that combination. The wife is going to be looking at new kitchens and bathrooms next week I'll bet.

Mike

The previous lady owner kept the car in Sandwich Kent, i think it was sold to the current owner for £3000 in 2003. If anybody on here buys it i could arrange contact with the lady if required.

I agree prices are high at the moment but don't see any signs in the near future that prices will level of let alone drop- so if that's the case whatever price the car gets is market value and see it going past £15k possibly more. Also bear in mind the value of the car if broken for parts? - £15k doesn't seem expensive now?

BTW is the car more valuable restored to original spec or with a few mods and a manual transmission to make it more fun - maybe not "S" spec but something heading that way?

Nice car, nice opportunity.
I'd like to see more detailed pics to gauge the extent of the rust (because that's where all your money will go) but someone will no doubt be happy to gamble on that.
Any early 911 in RHD is a rare thing....

Actually Paul that's a fascinating point you've raised there. Food for thought.
I wonder just how many UK delivered, RHD 1965-73 cars are still on the road?
All of 'em. T's, E's, S's, etc. How many extant?

I guess you'd need to include RS in that figure (which should have a pretty high survival rate - although not many of those were sold back in '73).

So.... what do we reckon? 500 cars?
More than that? Or less?

What about RHD 1973 E's?

Here's one that is going off to Envirostrip today.

Not sure whether I should be excited or very afraid. :?
