What do you think? We could always stamp another.

Kind regards.
I don't know…..it looks pretty much like an original and the font is perfect 8) …….

Great job, thanks John.
Stamping looks fine, but the font on the plate itself is way out compared to the original

Darren,

Do you happen to have a photo of your seat belt receptacle and inertia reel? I'm curious to see how the receptacles are fixed to the seats or floor and the reel is attached in the back of your car.

Thanks...Simon.

Too true, and that's from Porsche! …I've since noticed the one Mick purchased from here - http://www.skaraborgsflyg.com/dekal/eng_dekal.html

Far more authentic…think I'll try again…

I bought mine from Sierra Madre Collection a couple of years ago.
It´s a very accurate copy, only letter "D" is a tiny bit too wide (but correct shape and all ).
But you really need to have the original next to it to be able to tell.

Wonder if they still have plates from that batch in stock?
The one from Åke is very good too!

With the paint tag now sorted…..

Image

….I listed out the following items I'd like to add/improve/change…..

380mm Steering Wheel
Refurb horn push pad
Vintage RS Sports Seats with smooth vinyl bolsters and houndstooth inserts
Remove paint from back of door hinges and re-gap
New door seals (once Alan has produced the correct type, pending)
Mod to steering rack under tray (for 85 litre tank)
Covers for seat belt retractors
Refurb seat belt receivers
New top door pads
New door armrests and handles
New dash knee pads
New rear engine lid grill, 911E badge and Porsche script
Refurb front indicator units (never did get around to these)
Source rear seat bases (covers already trimmed and waiting to fit, current set borrowed)
Source/fit correct rear view mirror
Obtain one (yes, one short) correct screw for rear quarter hinge brackets

….nothing urgent, just a little to-do/wish list to get on with as and when time and funds allow :) …..

….although I have ticked off the first item….

….a 380mm steering wheel freshly re-trimmed by Jonathan Parr 8) …..

Image

…I've gone with the felt and single wrap option for an RS look/feel - I thought JP's wheels looked good although hadn't imagined they are this good, wonderful detail and stitching which will age beautifully….

…..great to have one of our own providing such a wonderful service, incredible value and to a quality second to none :) - if you need your steering wheel wrapped this is the place to go - http://www.ddk-online.com/phpBB2/viewto ... ls&start=0
