Absolutely beautiful, credit to all involved in putting it on the road, its probably better than the day it left the factory.

Are you still smiling Darren?

Wonderful summary and pics Darren, Marvellous details and the stunning result of all your hard work.

The POB tour feels like a very fitting first European trip for you & 911 together, have fun!

Ah, so you noticed the missing detail!

I've been looking forward to adding my own thread to this section for some time....bar one final update on my restoration thread, when the car will be tuned on a rolling road, that's now finished and this is where it all begins! :)

Thank you to everyone for all the kind comments, I never get to talk cars in my everyday life.....being able to share on DDK has been excellent.

Cheers,

As the rebuild thread ends the deterioration thread starts. By DDK's 50th (you listening Thomas) full circle.

It does look absolutely stunning, enjoy patina-ing it all over again.

BTW I didn't know it had once been a Sporto. On the boat over I want to pick your brains over rear carpet fit.

Your car really does look stunning Darren, can't wait to see it later this week. However, I don't think I'll park mine next to it on the POB trip unless you want to see what yours might look like in 40 years time with some dents and 'patina'!

Not completely happy with this, used a little too much force with the stamp.

What do you think? We could always stamp another.

Kind regards.

Great finish - congratulations!

A quick question about your seat belts...

I guess original buckles, but where did you source the webbing and labels from?
