The pressed aluminium with polished letters/numbers are about £35 / pair ish

I have these on my Porsche & my VW

The 'special' plates with the individual figures are the expensive ones

Been to an autojumble today where they are £20 in all for a set, made in front of your eyes.

If you prefer a square rear plate, they're £24 all in.

The quality was excellent.

The organiser is Penny Farthing Fairs and I understand there is going to be a big one at Newark in a couple of weeks - not too far from Leicester?

Hi Helen

Try http://www.mgm-spares.co.uk/vintage-plates/ they do both metal and self adhesive and are a lot cheaper than £100. Used them myself and they are great and no need to send a whole load of paperwork either V5 etc.

Hi Helen

Same as Andy,

http://www.ccmotorsport.co.uk/Merchant2 ... mber_plate

I went for the bevelled finish and I'm pretty chuffed with them, at £30.99 a pair i think they were worth it, Andy can vouch for them. (thanks again for the Protipo Andy).

Happy hunting...
