Quick update....
Dashbord is finished and I did cut out the engine lid and the door. Also I have nearly finished wiring the car. Until now 180 meters of electric wiring has gone in it.
And now starting to make the gutters for the engine lid and making the alu firewall behind the seat. Sorry for the dusty pictures...

Nearly no feed back or any interest around here so I have dicided to post no more updates anymore but the end result. Have a nice time to you all around here. I think my topic is not interesting enough.

What Bootsy said - I'm fascinated to see all your updates - a lot more people just read the posts without posting - sometimes it's difficult to say anything other than good work and looks amazing etc

So please keep the updates coming

What a shame, at least he's willing to post the end result??

It has gone quite on here to be honest thought.

We're have you all gone??

Ronald,

Quite frankly, as someone who struggles with some pretty simple car(re)building processes I'm in complete awe of your abilities and willingness to get stuck in to a project of this size and complexity. So while I follow your thread I really can't think of a whole lot of things to say!

I'd be disappointed if you stopped posting updates.

You must NOT be discouraged by a seeming lack of interest.

I have a thread running on my Porsche engined hillclimb special on 2 other sites.

The first has been running for about 4 years (!), over 1700 replies and 260,000 hits, about 1000 hits a week and I've not had a response from anyone for about 6 months, but still 1000 hits a week.

The second is the same car, specialist site, very small group of people who were VERY un-welcoming of the car. I was called 'The Butcher' by the moderator.

It is currently 100+ responses, 14K hits and their biggest thread by 10 fold. Not a response for 2 years, but their biggest thread, biggest hit rate.

Keep going and trust many DO watch and will respond if they have something to add.
