Not much would be my guess - the majority will be under the boot! - Only joking!

Spydermans got a 1776 under the bonnet if I remember rightly.

I had an RSK rep. Built by Autofarm in 80's for somebody with more money than was good for them. A GP body with 356 running gear and 912 engine. The engine had open tuned length pipes to a single outlet to look like the real thing and made an unbelievabe noise. Had to change this eventually by adding a VW end pipe, cos noboby would MOT it. The handling was v. scary. Sold it to pay to finish 2.2S body resto. Anybody know where it is now - can't rember reg.

Hi,
Sorry I didn't check back - still the only Spyder rep by the looks of things! :(

Bootsy's right about the 1776cc lump, and very nicely it goes too (still tempted to go bigger though - 14.9 quarter mile just isn't quick enough). The car actually took close to 3 years to put together, but a lot of that was 'as finances permitted'!

I'd love to get an authentic looking exhaust on it sometime too!

Cheers,

Timo

Here's a 718 RSK replica I built almost 20 years ago (!!):

I think the Yahoo you're trying to link from won;t let you. Try Muchos or Photobucket (see at the top of each forum for tips)

Any problems drop me a line and I'll try to help.

Yes, I was trying to link to Yahoo. It displayed the pic when I looked but seems to have gone now. I'll try using one of the sites suggest.
