Trim piece needed please

Post by Del »

Does anyone have a spare piece of 356 speedster waistline trim? (Not Beetle stuff).

I need the one like the stuff Roger Bray sells. Looks pretty much like this:

Only after a short length about 4-6 inches or so?

Not too fussed about condition as it will probably polish up, they are usually Aluminium.

Thanks in advance to anyone that can help.

Will have a look, sure l bought some spare lengths?? Will have a dig in the garage over the weekend. Are you after the short pieces either side of the door handles if so have you got the filler pieces??

had a quick look in the usual places but to no avail. Defo got some mine were to short that's why l had a few spare lengths, just finding the bloody things. Will keep looking anyway. If your in a rush for them you could chop an inch of the rear spears, if you defo got the fillers, nobody would no unless they got a tape out :-)

Thanks for looking... It's not urgent in that it wont stop the car from driving. I know what you mean about nicking a bit of the rears but we got too eager and fitted those first and put holes right at the ends for a snug fit where it curves so they cant be trimmed now.

Would be really great if you do manage to find a piece anyway!
