New to DDK and looking to sell a car?

If you're new to DDK you'll notice that we do not outlaw classified adverts that are not selling Classic Porsches or indeed other marques of cars.
We like to think that if a member of DDK is looking to sell a car whether Porsche or other make that the forum maybe useful.
However, if you've just registered on DDK please don't make your first post a for sale one.
Introduce yourself first and you'll find your for sale advert will be better received

I have listed a car for sale.
I noticed the topic is locked for editing or replies. Is there any reason for this or just how it works on classifieds?
What must I do if I would like to give additional information?

1992 Porsche 964 Carrera 2 LHD. Sympathetically modified road/speed hillclimb car. In same ownership for 18 years. Totally immaculate and professionally maintained. Brief spec: Recently rebuilt 3.8 engine, c/r gearbox, LSD, Bilstein suspension, BBS wheels, uprated brakes, rear cage, lightweight seats and six point harness. Peter will have read it all and done it properly! That's the sort of guy he is.
It's a beautiful car, well prepared and very quick. It's been driven to hillclimbs all over the UK, including Northern Ireland, where it has scored points in the British Hillclimb Championship, having qualified for the Championship run-offs.
