An article in todays Metro Sept 15 .Titled ..........The Bride and Vroom
Bride Megan Aston was determined to whisked away to her wedding in a classic Porsche 356 she built her own according to the article .Miss Aston a royal naval aero space engineer built the car it took her 6 years The reg is PFJ 169G any one on here know the car .

it was in the Sun also today "Here Comes the Ride"! Media overkill
it didn't say which kit it was she built just said it cost £4000

Top notch job, and I thought I was doing well building mine the first time, for 6.5k, just to prove you could build a Speedster cheaply. She must have got the body second hand, for a song, as that`s the major outlay.

I took it that she spent 4k on the chassis--i can't believe that paint job cost much less than 4!

A credit to Megan, and congrates. Ian its a Chesil body by the way. I'm sure lots of people will be thinking what a return for 4k and will building one just to make a profit, if only. Anyway might be lots of unfinished projects in the future ending up for sale on good old Ebay. Fingers crossed...
