Keeps crossing my mind to protect inner wings/paint - has anyone made/fitted some wheel arch liners that could share how they made/sourced them and fitted them to speedster reps?

cheers
Paul

Dominic at specialist vehicle preparations over on impact bumpers also does a set - I think his may be plastic and may also fit - don't know if there are any issues with early cars

Sure most rep owners as well as us have gave this one some thought. Been playing around with this one for a while, visited various scrapyards in search of a suitable donor vehicle in which you could use or be customised to suit a speedster. Found a few good fitting rear ones but with my rear stance, tyres foul the liner. The front has issues of its own, meaning the size and depth. l didnt find anything to match so came to the conclusion would need to be made from two liners to make one , maybe. Think the only way really is to make them from scratch. Then theres the issue of what material to use, what would be best method of fixing to outer wing. Ended up thinking alot more work's involved in making the liners from scatch and shelved the idea for a rainy day. Idea's anyone????

Hi, I rang SVP yesterday and asked if they made inner wing liners for Speedster rep's. They don't do them at present but are willing to if there is enough interest from us! They said to do a one off would cost aprox £500 then to make just a few more isn't cost efective to make the patten's and lazer cutting but if there were 11 or more he would do them!
I am very interested as it would stop the water getting in when I'm driving in the rain :(

I did similar to Oliver356, but used a rubberised paint, been on for eight years now and had no issues with stones . Cant remember the name of it though !!!!!!
