I'm not going to play around with colours as yet.
If you could all live with it for a little while and see how you get on.
There's still a lot to do so bear with me.
Thanks

Well done Thomas for getting everything back up and running - have just had a look, and like you say, some of the new features are a big improvement:

- On the left-hand side of the User Control Panel you can manage your watched topics and add bookmarks to useful topics etc
- Save draft posts (useful for those writing epic restoration threads who want to pause for a breath without worrying they are going to lose all their hard work :)). Just click "Save draft" when creating a post.
- Attach files
- Friends and Foes option looks interesting...

Also, the 2012 sticker arrived yesterday - thanks Thomas!

Yes, plenty of features to make use of.

Likewise behind the scenes the control of the forum has many new features that will assist in the running.

For example -

I can remind new registrants who have inactive accounts to use them
I can issue warnings if somebody does anything naughty which last for 90 days!
and lot's more which I discovering at the moment.

Yep, I've discovered (in the User Control Panel) that I have no friends 'on-line' and no friends 'off-line'.
I felt that was the case but to have it confirmed by the new software..... :(

Nice new logo though. :)

That's very kind of you Tim, but I'm unable to accept your friendship until I've learned how to do it in the new software... :compress:

Colour is easy now, ain't it?

And big too.

I'd not heard of tapatalk - just downloaded it. Not sure how to add ddk on - when I search for ddk it doesn't show up. Don't want to hijack this thread so if anyone knows the answer please pm me

Cheers

Thomas, just a small point but I've noticed that links within threads now navigate you away from the DDK site whereas before (and on other forums) a new window/tab would open (which is preferable).

Otherwise, great work & great site. :P
