VW service specialists in SW London / Surrey?

Post by BerryBoy »

Hi, I'm a newbie. After 20 or so years thinking that the 356 Speedster is the prettiest car in the planet, I've just bought a '04 Chesil on a '67 chassis.

Upon inspection, one of the bushes in the front suspension / steering is perished. So I need to find someone to fix it and look after the car going forward.

Does anyone know of a VW (Beetle) service specialist in SW London / Surrey? I live in West Horsley, in between Guildford and Leatherhead.

Any advice would be appreciated as I'm an air cooled virgin, and don't have the time or ability to work on the car myself.

Regards, IB

Hi IB

Get in touch with the New Waves VW club:
http://newwaves-v-dubclub.moonfruit.com ... 4516623504.
They should be able to point you to someone good down Surrey way. A few of the members have replicas as well I believe.

Thanks all. I've done some research this morning and found a place in Farnham, so all sorted now. I've kept those links for future reference though. Thanks again.

I've used Pete Nice for years to look after the bus and the Cab':

Always handy as he will travel to you, although he has a new workshop now and does some work from there.

Great guy and knows his stuff

Thanks for the recommendation Viv. I did look at his website actually, and it was a toss up between him and Beetle Link in Farnham. The later picked up the phone first, although I might have a rethink because it's costing me £50 to get the car delivered down to Farnham.
