As ever, I have ideas for about 5 projects in my head at any one time...who doesn't ?! Right ?

How much ( ££ just for parts) would it cost to turn a 3.0 sc ( 1980) into an ealrier looking car ( not including wheels) ? Just for future refernce, in case everything else fails !! :drunken: To start with, to get rid of the dreaded whale tail !!

Thanks, Mark 8)

There are kits available that claim you can do the whole job, including paint, for £3500. It all depends how good you you want your rep to be.

Exactly where I think I'll be heading as well.

I've got a few ideas of what I want to do, just waiting for a suitable donor to drop into my lap: ideally nice and rusty  .

I'll give you a good discount

Russ, I don't think yours was at least rusty enough for Barry ;)

Throw a bit salty water at it and he might be interested.

Decided to get 'something' and it's a 912E and I WONT be converting to earlier look....am I still allowed to post, will the door be closed ?

I was looking at pics of the sadly-sold :( '66, and as pretty as the SWB early cars are, I don't think I could change the 912E from it's very original state. 8)

When I have a few more $$ in the future, maybe I will go back down the early route...if I'm not priced out of the market !!

I entered DDK with a 912e, I'm sure you'll be welcome. Pretty rare car really.
