Thanks Nick. A bit more info...
At home I have a "911 / 911S / Carrera Driver's MANUAL / Maintenance Record '74". On the vehicle identity page is the following info.
Car Type: 911634
Chassis Serial Nr: 9114310639
Engine Serial Nr: 6341842
Delivered on 09.09.74 By Porsche Denham Green Automobile Centre, Bucks.
I was just wondering which specific car it's for. I guess the car type "911634" relates to the specific engine type "634"? And, if anyone still owns this particular car - I've got your original handbook.

I had a handbook for a 1974 Carrera in front of me when I replied. The car type is left blank in mine. You have the handbook for a 1974 911S Targa. My guess is that it has rusted away by now Try asking on Impact Bumpers, Guy is the register Secretary and may be able to tell you whether the car is still on the register
I will try and get the original registration number for you.

Unortunately the car doesn't seem to have been on the PCGB Register so on this occaision I am unable to reunite the owner with his handbook. AS Nick says possibly demised a while ago.nick-moss wrote:I had a handbook for a 1974 Carrera in front of me when I replied. The car type is left blank in mine.
