Caen route down

I have planned a 'scenic' route down to CLM from Caen. It takes on some of the alternate roads, rather than going down the usual route and it should take about 4 Hours according to my sat nav.
The idea is to have a pleasant journey though France with some interesting sights and roads.

Just updated the route, 4 hours now! Do you think it's too short?
A few people had PM'ed me to take it a bit more off the beaten track.

Sounds good to me. Remember, the journey has to be combined with a long lunch and other stops along the way, so you can add a couple of hours onto the journey time easily
Besides, I'll be on my own in the car, without sat nav (and I'll probably forget my map again) so happy to follow a leader!

I think it would be good to have a few breaks on the way down to allow your group get back together. My first suggestion is just after point H on the map, there is a cafe after the tennis court near the marina;
HERE
The second for lunch is Sille-le-Guillaume, just after point P on the original Map. We'll just find some parking somewhere and try to find somewhere to eat, how hard will it be to spot some early '11's!
We would then have about an hour to the campsite.

Same here. Actually just realised my DDK clock settings were wrong, thought you'd posted an hour earlier than you did
