Joe Macari had it for sale a couple on months ago. I would love to have a 3.0RS. I wonder whether it had electric windows when it left the factory?

Nick
Someone did a nice 3.0RS replica here

Funnily enough I had taken an interest in the conversion you did a few years ago, as I am already thinking about my next 'project', as the planning and parts sourcing is a great and fun part of the 'ownership' experience. I thought a 3.0RS would be a good project.
Is this the car we saw down at Bristol OPC Recently ?
Is there a link to the Nick Whale car ?

got to say though, the 1953 Healey is lovely too, never driven one, probably never will but since I don't own a leather flying jacket either it's no great hardship! also the Jag ( from when Jags Were Jags!)

Russell showed me over the car in Sept. '08. He was turning down offers of circa £300k (or so he told me!)
Great car, great provenance, greatly over my budget.

says dealer Nick Whale, who is selling the car. "That it is also such a rare piece of Porsche history too, makes this a car not to be missed by any Porsche enthusiast."
£
Here's one Porsche enthusiast who can give it a miss

Now confirmed by Hesketh himself as never having been owned by Hunt.
Messrs. Whale & Hesketh have now spoken and have 'clarified' this position.
Price remains as is.
