Wanted - Hi-Fi bookshelf speakers & integrated amp
Way off any topic I know, but I'm after an decent amp & speaker set up for my kitchen and I know you DDK people tend to have all manner of random items in the loft unused. Old classic and British gets my vote on the HiFi front
I'm not looking big budget, about £150 all in tops, hopefully less.
I'd rather buy from a know source than risk ebay, but I'm also looking on there of course.
What have you got!

Just had a look through mine for you.
No spare amp but do have a mint hardly used Marantz CD-63 Special Edition with superb sound and another Philips CD player.
I'm actually looking for some cheap floorstanders if anyone has any????

How about I sell you my Quad Electrostatics? Got a nice Sugden A48mk2 amp going spare, too... The only thing more British is a Union Jack!Gary71 wrote:Old classic and British gets my vote on the HiFi front

Cheers Ian, I missed the B1, it went for £105. I'm aware of the MF cooking reputation!
A friend had an A1 setup and it was supplementary heating for his lounge I'm not much better, my Audiolab kit only gets turned off when I move house or during a power cut
The Castles are also creeping out of my price range (not surprisingly) with 6 hours still to go...
