Hello from London

Thought it’s about time to properly introduce myself. Have been lurking around the ddk forum for some time and took a lot of inspiration from it for my own project.
I’m a Swiss citizen living in London since 2002 and a 911 addict since early age. If the upload worked then my avatar should show my first 911, a slightly scuffed c. 35 year old police targa that had gone forgotten in a box in the attic with other toy cars before it recently resurfaced and now once again gets a proper drive in the hands of my two year old son.
My first grown up 911 was an 83 SC, which back then as a 15 year old car was the most affordable entry option into 911 ownership. The SC served me well as a daily driver for three years before a reluctant sale when I left Switzerland to go back to school in the US.
My second and current 911 is a 1973 T/E 2.4 MFI, which I’ve purchased and imported from the US to the UK when one British Pound still was buying two US Dollars. The car is currently undergoing a bare metal ST inspired restoration and I will try and post some pictures of the project when I manage to get them uploaded to Flickr.
Best,
Marius
