'...the private plate on the car " P50RCA " looks fantastic and spells porsche'

thats a whole lot of car for the money. i really like the red interior.
the thing that puts me off is not being allowed to test drive a car like that.
i'd actually buy that car but the advert puts me off.

I don't think the ad means you can't test drive it! I think "test drivers" means people whio just want to test drive and have no intention of buying.
Go for it!

It is CAT D. He is saying, if you want to pay £32000 for NON CAT D then go elsewhere!

it says 'BUT the only drawback is its CAT D march 08'
the non cat D reference is telling you how much it'd be worth if it wasn't cat D

Accept it kills resale value, i wouldnt buy a car of this level from an advert like that, simple, i also wouldnt buy a once £100k car thats been stacked without complete details of all the repair work.
Each to there own though.

Yes I agree. Having owned a cat D Caterham and being knowledgable enough to be ok to buy it, it was fine. Selling it though was a complete pain in the whatsit.

I recently saw an add of Porsche 944S that said translated something like this:
"A Car which value won't change, it only goes up."
I thought that was funny.
