Got up this morning to drive from Norwich to Huddersfield. The Company hack had a flat battery and so I thought, I know I'll get the 993 out, be a nice blast.

Had my appointment, left to return. Pulled in for fuel and noticed oil dripping from the front wheel arch.

Losing a fair bit when stationery and had sprayed a bit on the underside of the car when I was driving. Good thing is when i checked the level it was still above the minimum so no damage done.

Currently sitting in the Little Chef off the A1 near Retford waiting for an AA recovery truck to take me the remaining 120 miles!

What joy.

Hopefully will not be a major repair - guessing loose pipe to cooler or damaged pipe?

Well, made it to holbeach but driver has to have a 45 min rest due to his tacho allowance. Should make it home for about 9.30! What a day!

And to add insult to injury the new truck has arrived and the car seems tooblowbto get it on there, the driver is returning to his depot to get some blocks so we can try again!

Hehe,

I had to wait for two RAC wagons last time I got towed in, one to close the dual carriage way whilst the other loaded the car up. That was embarrasing, they also had to wake up a truck driver to move his wagon forward so they could load it as well.

You'll look back in fondness one day.
