Some impressions from the Porsche Days in Francorchamps, the biggest Porsche event in Belgium.

We left early in the morning, a 150 mile drive from Oostende to Francorchamps.

We didn't count them but there must have been over a 1.000 porsches there on sunday. Old and new.

Fantastic shot, credits go to my wife Katrien.

Raidillion - Eau rouge.

We drove 2 (slow) laps with our 912, this track must be one of the most difficult tracks in the world. You just keep on turning and turning.
Last year they broke the world record of total number of Porsches on a race track, this year I believe they did even better.

All the pictures we took are here: http://users.pandora.be/piet.neyrinck/album/index.htm

I don't know the owner, as you can see in the pics it's a Luxemburg numberplate and seems to be a 56. Next time you go check your Luxemburg bankcaccount maybe you can ask the local police if they can track down the owner.

Send me your email address in a PM and I will email you the original high resolution images of the car. (size between 500 K and 1 MB)

We'll let you know the dates as soon as they are published. I can also provide details of good local accomodation etc. Probably know more in December.

As for driving the track I'm going to try and upload a quicktime file onto my website of a trip around flat out in my flat 6!!!!! I'll post when its ready.

On the main straights I was getting up to 100 - 110 down toward eu rouge - mph when I wasn't keeping outta the way of the new cars. After the Radillon on the straight into the first esses I was hitting 95 before braking.

I reckon the the GT3s were doing 150 as they literally left me standing still!!! I've some other footage were this is even more apparent!!! :D

Fantastic movie - looks like a great event. I'd love to drive through eau rouge one day. Maybe next year. The leaning camera was funny - like being on a bike :)

Wow Stefan great pics on your site. :)

Glad your liked the amateur video work (thanks to my co-pilot). We hope to organise a DDK contingent including pitlane garage next year so keep checking forthcoming events.
