So, he's homing in on some possibilities......any info on quality/reliability etc on automatic watches by Bulova, and Yema? The Yema range are deeply appealing, and we quite like the French ness.....Superman GMT. The Bulova that appeals is the Oceanographer GMT....your thoughts pls? W

Now I'm definitely not very knowledgeable about watches, but I saw one of these in real life last week and rather liked it (sorry for the big pic)

I do like a Seamaster Pro

I’m biased as my father bought me this one in 1995 when they first came out billed as the new Bond watch due to Pierce Brosnan wearing one in the movie

Although I’d been into watches on and off this was the watch that kicked it all off and it’s never for sale

The one you posted is the modern model and a two tone version

And now adorning my wrist! It's the first expensive watch I've owned and Mrs R is unimpressed 8)

And I love it, it looks great and is super comfortable to wear!

That's quite a damning review.....The movement in the model he (currently) favours is a Sellita SW200-1, which I now find gets mixed reviews.....but about 50/50 positive/negative.....which I think his ok because I tend to think people are quicker to moan than praise.....W

Thought this may be of some interest to a few on here…

Not an easy watch to photograph and one which has a real sense of occasion when popped on the wrist.

A Porsche Design 1919 Datetimer Eternity. Bronzed titanium case with the wonderful floating design achieved through the unique lugs.

Porsche Design points to the original Porsche 356 automobile as the direct inspiration for this model.

Full set, boxes. Papers etc and as new

More images and details here https://www.heuerheritage.co.uk/porsche-design-1919

Special price to a ddk’er will make it the cheapest available in the country

Another picture… but different lighting which helps show how lovely the dial is and how the colouring, material and strap combination does invoke a vintage feel all be it on a relatively new watch. Beautiful Royal Navy issued 1950’s Lemania single pusher chronograph.

Has correct 0552/920-3305 Royal Navy military engravings to the caseback and is in full working serviced condition.

This one has been in my private collection many years but sadly is available to purchase now at £3,500.

More pictures and videos are available - just PM me.

These are a great size and wear fantastic on the wrist with a variety of different types of straps and colours available that take you 2 minutes to change.

British Military issued watch prices just keep rising year on year....!
