Just shortnote to introduce myself. Have been looking at old porsches for a while now, I am now at a stage that I want to purchase one, really got into them after buying a new one and developed a inkling for a old one

welcome Mark,
i'm sure we'll be able to answer any questions you have. you also welcome to come along to any meetings and get to know our cars as well.
this lot on DDK managed to brainwash me away from new porsche ownership

i'm delighted they did, the old porsches have definatly enhanced my life.
or is it just being part of the DDK community thats done that

I was at the petrol station the other day and the old boy parked next to me took a quick look over my car and remarked "they don't make 'em like that anymore son". He's right too. Modern sports cars (even Porsches) are a bit too sterile to really enjoy. You really notice it after driving an early 911 with real character.

Quite fancy the Bahama Yellow 912 Hunter is currently advertising.
Having been lurking the background for a while now, thought it was about time I joined and came out of the closet as it was.
