'68 SWB race car for sale - LHD

My first post here...
I have my '68 911 vintage racer on the market.

$32K - USD for the car only. Spares are additional. Price is FOB Ridgecrest, California.
I've never shipped a car overseas...that said, I am about two hours away from Los Angeles.

PS - It would be a fair amount of work to make this car road worthy...all the street gear has been removed.

Always loved that car. Incidentally - 'Miggs' who I started this site with had various shots of your car when he was restoring his 912 and it was his inspiration.
His 12 ended up looking very different but your car inspired him.

It is your comment about the dodgy floorplan (especially on a racecar) which is a concern to me. We may have a strong pound but it is still strong money (when approx 20% additional costs for import are involved) for a race car that needs such structural improvements.
Maybe a little more explanation on this problem would help.
Just my tuppenneth on why you may have had no bites.

Yes...the floorpans are an issue on this car. They had been solidly patched (by me) when I first built it, but they really need to be repaired properly.
I have the replacement panels here and ready to go...my thinking was to work this situation with the buyer. What I mean by that is give the buyer the choice of having the repairs done "his way, to his satisfaction," or do the repairs myself and call it good. Bear in mind...the floors are solid as they are - they just look like sheet.
This is the ONE bone on this car...the more I ponder this, the more tempted I am to go ahead and just re-do the floor and be done wth it...
