A few pictures from the first stage of the Roger Albert Clark rally which started here in Harrogate this morning.
Some interesting cars including some 911's, Stratos, Mini and dozens of Mk1 & MK2 Escorts.

Pic 1 - Super neat handbrake turn into powerslide 8)
Pic 2 - Who say's early 911s always oversteer :lol: :lol: Terminal understeer!
Pic 3 - Another lovely drift. Nice :)

I think Mick Cliff is popping along to see some of the RAC. Unfortunatly I couldn't persuade the wife & kids that it would be fun stood in teh freezing cold :roll: :lol:

I think Mick Cliff is popping along to see some of the RAC
Didn't make it today - other activities overtook..... :cry:
Wish I had gone now, looking at those photos.
Takes me back to my youth - marshalling in Dalby when THE Roger Clark won his first (proper) RAC rally :lol: .... and Waldegaard drove through Dalby at an alarming speed in a Stratos without windscreen and rear body cover, having rolled :shock:

the trip to Mexboro's collection shold have brought back happy memories then Mick :)

I've been stripping wall paper today amongst other house stuff :roll: At least we might actually have some rooms with carpets & curtains by Xmas

It's after 11pm and I still have to make up my mind whether to go to Ae tomorrow and if I should take the Porsche....keep you posted.
