Rear light clusters

Post by early_911 »

I've got someone needing a replacement - and I'm sure I saw a post saying someone is remanufacturing them (were they plastic . . . was it Andy - lightweight) . . . . searched, but not found . . . . can someone please point me in the right direction.

Phil - I don't think that the rear lamps are being re-manufactured.

They don't seem to corrode to the same degree as the fronts & remained essentially the same (from '69) right up to '89 so there are a lot more of them around too.

What side does your contact need (I might have one) ?

That's what I remember and I'm sure it was Andy but I could be wrong.

The fronts are being remanufactured & are available through a number of the usual UK outlets - see this thread:

I did post some details a while ago about some forthcoming lightweight std front indicator lamps (which were being developed by the guy that makes the 911R parts I sell) but there doesn't seem to be a need now that the above versions have become availabe.
