Hi everyone,
I have just joined what looks like a great forum. I live near Bradford and have been into 356s and aircooled VWs for 10+ years.
I currently own 1953 and 1962 356s, mk2 Golf Gti 16V and half a 1934 Austin Seven Opal (the other half is my dads). The Austin is currently completely in pieces but will be on road by 2010! :sign2:
It would be great to hear from you all out there.

Welcome 356ist

You will find that the Northerners on this forum meet in the Renfrewshire/Ayrshire district and the very Northerners are in Fort William and Aberdeen and we now have a very very Northern branch on Orkney.

you need to host your pictures on a site like Photobucket or buzznet (which are both free) right click on your hosted picture and Copy the Location address of the photo,
come into DDK and when you want to post your photo in your message click the "img" tool bar key, then Paste your location address, then Click "img" tool bar key again

this should give you

this will post your image on ddk

Many thanks for the help Helen.
The photo of my white coupe was taken at Harewood House earlier this year. It currently has no doors as the have been "repaired" by a previous owner. Hopefully will be back on the road later this year. Just one of many repairs I have had to do over the years.

These photos were taken at Brands Hatch last year.

Glad to know the effort to get her down there wasn't wasted.
Can you tell me how to make the photos bigger. :?
They are bigger on photobucket and I have seen most other photos posted seem to be a large size.

you are right clicking on the thumb print(useful for avatar picture under your name) size photo on photobucket, instead

you need to either

a) highlight and copy the url address in the list under the thumb print picture

or

b) open the picture so its showing the full size then right click on that and copy the location address.

I went to view that speedster when it was up for grabs on ebay. Nice original car. I do remember it had suffered a slight bash in it's life and had a later post '55 A front wing fitted giving it different height headlights which made it appear half cut
