bit short notice as usual & it might be weather dependant ..
but how about a drive out this Saturday morning? Times & route still to be decided. It won't be too quick as my daughters will be with me.

The plan is for an early start so we can have lunch in a nice pub, then head off home early afternoon.
Probo meet near Borougbridge. I'm keeping us away from the 'moors' & concentrate on the roads in Hambleton.
We will see Castle Howard though

Tell you what: I lost my spare wheel clamp assembly

on the field of Castle howard, where my car was parked.
In true boy-scout stylee: If anyone can (or is sad enough to) find it, I will donate the price of a new one to charity and will deliver a bottle of your choice from the tax free shop. Hows that

Bert
The cars are parked at Castle
BOLTON, not Castle Howard!
No wonder you keep getting lost - and then try to blame me

Just testing, Mike, whether you would notice
Thanks for clarifying: I was indeed confused.
Best regards,

Just checked the bbc site for Saturday's weather and it forecasts sunny and 15 degrees. Sue and I will come over the 66 to meet you.
Cheers for now!

How does meeting in Easingwold Market place @ 10am sound? If thats too ealy please say so.
I have an idea for a route in my head, in other words just follow where I go
I have a couple of options of really nice pubs for lunch too
BTW, in Easingwold the market place is behind the main street
