Post by mitso »

Has anybody got a 912 90mm generator? Or where can I get a reasonable priced one from?
Thanks

I had to get an exchange one from Roger Bray about 5 years ago when I needed to use the car in a hurry - can't your existing one be rebuilt?

Bearings only cost a few pounds. What did you do to the armature - drive a traction engine over it?! When the bearings went in mine I thought it was the whole engine seizing up - very scary!

I think Transend sometimes get these generators in, but they seem to be harder and harder to find. Maybe ebay from the US is the best bet? Or take it to somewhere that reconditions them and see what they can do with it - I know a good place in Southampton.
