.

I remember when that car was up for sale ~ 10 years ago ($45k from memory which was about a third of what it had cost to build) ...

2016 or 2017 Sebring Classic I think -Either way I was there! I have the pistons and props stickers on my 924 race car......
Great meeting, very accessible, drivers and support probably outnumber spectators!

I went three years running back in the days of annual Florida client visits - to coincide with this event! Excellent compared to European events - full paddock access and drivers/crew almost outnumbering spectators.
A Three day VIP ticket for USD100 also gives you three tracklaps ( great in an Avis 5.0 Mustang) and a day hanging out and visiting everyone by buggy (including his dad) with the race director - James Redman son of the great Brian Redman.
Can you imagine the Duke of Riichmond doing that ?

Good looking '66 912 EV conversion, on it's 2nd upgrade.
Compelling video, but just 100 range is still far too low.
I like these motors-to-stock gearbox conversions, and it even has lots of luggage room left, not that you would use it?

I'm not sure why a sportmatic isn't a driver's car! However, a very interesting hardtop 914
