Agree.
I bought an Ibanez electro acoustic about 5 years back, simple thing with Olive Wood lamination, best guitar I have/had, just nice to play.
Old ones are rare.
I'm not sure old guitars are actually the better of old v new.

Found this clip of SRV on an old acoustic.

Just watched that followed by Deep Purple Child in Time at the BBC.
The 70s crowd were all sat down and clapped very politely when
it finished. Most looked like the didn't know what had hit them!
Brilliant!

JB is breath taking on his own or at the Albert Hall.
Never seen him, I think he is in the UK soon?

Beth is a scary proposition, but so complimentary to JB is full flight.

Cleaner and up close of JB's skills:

Been v busy this weekend fighting my trailer, so this is very calming.
Sad to see Mark going to Gibson from Norm's guitars, so..the world moves on.

Hope you enjoy the quality of this. I have an Ibanez too, but not like this!

New to me too!
Lovely skill, fabulous playing and what an instrument, an old Ibanez electrified through a valve amp maybe.
Thanks for posting on this little thread! :)

Went to see this chap last night

What speed! To be honest not really my type of guitarist. I will not bother seeing him again.

This was the pre act and they did a couple of song together which were very good

Have to say, TM is one of my favorites!
Did you go to Shrewsbury to see him?
