Hi Mark thanks for asking, been a bit busy over the last few days what with the car arriving! :wav:

Here it is when we opened up the container and picked it up in Southampton with Neil's trailer,

Pleased to hear that it's arrived safe and well, Mike.

Is the engine coming straight out, or are you going to hang on until the end of the season???

Is that it ?

I thought it was supposed to be something a bit special ?

Just looks like any other old 911 replica to me.... :(

 :laughing3:

No, really, it looks every bit as good as I expected it to be - I bet you haven't stopped grinning yet...

Congratulations !

cheers for all the comments, the main aim is to get it ready to run at the Silverstone track day in a couple of weeks, albeit in its current single plug state, since the new heads won't be ready in time. Will keep you posted with the progress. :) :) :)

what was that decibel limit again
cheers, Mike.

well I can see why the previous owner painted the bonnet with straight stripes. Here's the painter Kevin O'Rourke of Moto-Technique, left, and designer Ian Willsmer of Screen Image, in yet another meeting to try to work out the design of the mask/template for the new hood design paint job. This was an early trial version discounted as the corners were to square
