Edit : no friday meet on the Mulsanne as track is live.

it was I who asked French geezer I we could stand on his motor home for pix a few years back.
Wanted to make sure that I didn’t coincide with tracklaps this year.
Having camped with DDK in the past and last year PCI ( as I’m now based in Ireland) it will be great to see the two groups together!

Just in case anyone else wants to join us, Sarah and I will be travelling ack on Sunday getting the 23.30 Caen/Portsmouth overnight ferry.
Caen is only 2 hours from LeMans on a straight run so loads of time for a liesurely get away from LeMans and visit some places on the way, seek out some good roads and have a relaxing diner somewhere.

Are you guys going to drive the full circuit? Would be great to join you for the lap and pic. Am not camping so please let me know when you have a plan and I’ll come and meet you guys.

Edit : no access to track on Friday ... If anyone wants to drive the public roads of the circuit it will have to be done Thursday.

Usually drive the public road part of the circuit before and after ( basically mulsanne, indi , Arnage and upto the start of porsche curves ) .... roads are usually pretty busy with classics

Turns out roads will be closed All day Friday. Not sure if that means they are closing Thursday eve or fri am, but there is track action from 9am on Friday so that will rule out our usual meet.

Didn’t we meet at the Michelin chicane on Thursday afternoon last time?

Yep, Friday morning from what I remember.

When I photographed it a few meetings back it was definitely Friday AM
