The car looks fantastic - can't wait to see it in the flesh - will it be here in time for Silverstone (July 30th)?

Cheers

Thanks Mark, gonna try to get it to Silverstone to run at the track day. I doubt the new engine will be ready by then, so will have to make do with the existing single plug 250hp 3.0 mfi unit :(

Should have its new war paint on though

I wouldn't bother mate - 250bhp - hardly seems worth turning up

What will the new engine put out? and what spec will it be (other than twin plugging)?

I must be the last one on here to say… bloody hell. Wow! Well done.

Another silver Porsche on the block now. ;) 250bhp not fast enough for you Mike?. Twin plug did I hear you say… ok so now that going to haul some with hike in compression and some other tricks.

Can’t wait to see, hear and drive with you soon Mike. Congratulations indeed.

Mike,

When you have your new engine, I am happy to 'store' your 3.0mfi in the back of my car  8)

Mike,

Out of interest, what will be happening to the 3.0? Exchange, spare (?!), sale?

Thanks

Chris

Chris, it looks like it will be for sale along with the gearbox. We don't now exactly what's inside, but its a 3.0 on ali cases, bored out magnesium stacks with 40mm throttle bodies and a modified RSR style mfi pump with the larger space cam and blanked off cold start.

The owner claims its 250hp and Neil did a leakage test which was fine.

The box is the later 915 with a quaife LSD

Will put this in the for sale section overnight.
