Not quite sure what time people are planning on arriving on Fri night, but if I book to eat at 8pm is that OK ?

I'm going to try & arrive reasonably early to get a seat by the fire ;)

Saturday there are no set plans. I might do a bit of exercise for a change & have a bit of a walk if the weather is Ok.

Some were fancying a drive out ... the pub is not far from the Alston / teesdale roads or Buttertubs etc etc. Keep an eye on what the weather / salt situation is going to be as that might be a factor.

If we are all driving 2 1/2 hours to get there then I doubt anyone gives a shite about salt on the Saturday!

Just get the route planned and stop being a complete jessy.

I'm planning on getting the pub 6-6:30 so will see you al in the bar

Saturday .. for those wanting a proper drive I can point you in the correct direction's, it is forecast for pretty heavy rain and possibly snow on higher ground though !

I'm looking likey to have the missus in the car which as you know changes my driving style somewhat , so for those with passengers we can have a calm run around the dales maybe stopping for lunch somwhere before all heading our own ways ?

Is everyone planning on a hanging around Saturday until just after lunch ?

Great night with great friends :)

Feeling slightly tired after a 2am finish ;)

Nice to have a proper Yorkshire welcome by the weather this morning, freezing cold, horizontal rain and flooded roads so we had a typical Ddk Rock and roll kind of day and visited the Wensleydale cheese factory :)

Good turn out of Porsche's too, but last nights run up into the hills me me realise again I must do something about the headlights on the 964

At least it wasn't snowing like when Peter and I arrived!

Great night, well worth the journey and amazing food/hotel rooms for the money.

My jaw is huring through laughing again....
