It hasn't stopped raining all day in London, we are leaving in a couple of hours to head north and apparently the hotel we booked has no electricity so they are moving us to another hotel. Good start to the weekend.

I was going to say 'things can only get better' but then I realised it might make me sound like Tony Blair...

Great day (morning) and weather behaved itself... And despite what all you guys say, I still reckon the 991's pretty damned impressive.

Definitely impressive. And capable. And fast. And dull. And soulless. And it's got a fat arse. IMHBCO

Last year was a gloriously hot day and I was in a metallic black 993…...water marks were baked on solid, took a cut and polish to get rid of them!
Another excellent day and great to catch up with people………much easier in the 2.4E and had to let it go on a purpose a couple of times at the request of my daughter who wanted us to spin…..skinny tyres or maybe all that extra feel in the early car?
Great fun

Really great day, not been before, but I don't think it will be too long before I go again. Not sure which of you guys were there, but your cars were a joy to see.

I agree, I want impressed last year either.
It was interesting seeing the different ideas on "restoration" that the dealers have. My favourites were the blue 73T and the 76 911

Both were very good, I preferred the blue 73T, but I thought the 76 cars restoration was better. The restoration of the 76 car can be seen here...

Had a great time on Saturday in the morning session - weather was biblical on the drive up but turned out to be fine once we got there.
Good breakfast, a lot of fun on the kickplate especially, the chance to push some new 991s with the instructor egging you on, and a good lunch as well!
Nice to meet some new people, have fun in your own car and to have a nosey around at the OPC cars and all the great cars that turned up.
My GoPro recorded nothing at all though!

I bet you were a naffed off about that. We were only saying after the event, they should film people enjoying their cars, then sell them to you. I for one would have bought a copy. A fantastic day and nothing to show people.
