Supersport to 73rsr

I got the idea while i was at the ring there was a '74 rsr looked after by Manthey which had one.

Its purpose is to protect the fibre glass bumper as for down force i cant say but it looks nice. Its made out of Alu

Awesome project - very inspired to something similar here as there are a number of SC's knocking around for (by Singapore standards) reasonable money. Where did you source the body parts?

Where did you get the front splitter from mate? Or was it made for you? Good idea on protecting front pu - would be interested in one for mine when it gets here.

it was made from Alu in 2 parts then bolted on to the bumper

Saw this car ( I think ? ) at Poole Quay on Friday night .

It looks even better in the flesh with a little evidence of some driving on its flanks. Should've been the car of the night but a "viper green" GT3 RS was chosen by the chavs.

Couple of lovely 356 coupes in the outlaw style were also headturners. An early 928 GTS with nitrous and a reported up to 1010 BHP available looked like something out of mad max . The sticker said 245 mph

Didn't have a camera sorry.

The tyres are 18/60 x 15 front and 26/61 x 15 rear on 9" and 10" rims. Early 911 supplied and refinished the rims. I have a spare pair of 11 x 15s in that finish if you are interested.

I would guess turbo trailing arms?

ah yes it was a supersport originally - wondered if arches were wide enough to take 11's aswell but you are probably right

I understand that on Michelin TB's these sizes equate to 215/55VR15 and 295/40VR15 so are these the largest tyres that can be fitted to the 9" + 11" Fuchs without compromising any clearances?

11" Fuchs (or replica) rims will not fit under Turbo arches with Turbo trailing arms so we fitted 10" rims with the 26/61 x 15 tyres. The Lime Green RSR rep has 12.5" Compomotives (with a greater backsapce) and 29/61-15 TB15s, so there is plenty of room under the arches.
