Just a thought, what is the rough magnitude of cost for a service and fixing do you know?

Depends on the movement - anywhere between £100-500 gives you an idea

ETA, this is the watch that has stopped working to be clear!

So I've changed my mind. I don't think it's worth spending money on to fix. So if anyone wants it they are welcome to it. Otherwise it'll go in the recycling.

I'll happily post it to anyone that has a use for it.

Cheers
Graham

A rather exquisite recent pick up.

A Tradition 60s Panda chronograph.

Made by Heuer for Sears and Co.

More history here on a listing for a recently sold identical watch on Hodinkee https://shop.hodinkee.com/products/19x0 ... 1154589771

Mines on a beads of rice bracelet (and a black rally strap comes with it)

The identical Heuer branded one sell for about £8-10000!

This stunning little piece is £2000

LOL you are welcome. Although it’s now covered in finger prints in those pics and looks scratched to hell   I should have taken some decent ones for you

Do like Mels finger pic though ImageImage

Not for sale but In for a service.

One of the best condition Porsche Design watches running the Lemania 5100 movement I’ve seen in a long time - stunning condition and has its original box

Just met up with its owner who together with his father is involved in historic racing and is coaching today at Snetterton.
