A 70's Strat being stretched to the full limit by a gifted player, a lot of my youth right there, music style, not playing!

Back in about 1975 I had a mate who bought one of these guitars, £100 I think on the Never-Never.
I bought his EKO concert guitar from him to raise the deposit, the EKO I still have to this day, a bonza of a dreadnought.

Clean forgotten just how good they sound.

Believe it or not there was a time long ago, when the eagles rocked. I know, it sounds unlikely . But long ago there was a man called Don Felder in the Eagles and not only was he there but he was given the freedom to actually play guitar. These were the heady days of 1974-1978 well before my time and not years that the cleancut Eagles of the modern era like to acknowledge existed. Fortunately I have quite the bootleg collection of FM tapes! Now some people (fools) think that Joe Walsh was the guitarist of note in the Eagles, when really he was just the useless hanger on who because of his antics away from music stole the limelight. Don Felder is probably one of the most underrated guitarists of the 20th century, not helped by the plethora of amazing guitarists in the 70s, but you look at his ability and adaptability, rhythm, lead, slide, banjo, finger-pick, electric, acoustic, you name it he would boss it. An absolute legend whose contributiuon they have tried to side line for decades.
