When I saw that first listed for sale I thought what a nice car at that price with a good bit of potential too.

Andy, will you weigh it first and then see what you can get out of it yet still tweak is as you will?

My 73T came with a rouge 2.2 on webers when I got it and it was a very nice usable engine imho. Ended up in a VW Splitty.

Any changes I make to the car will all be totally reversible - & I won't be doing anything drastic.

I'm not planning on fitting any grp/composite panels or drilling any holes for weight reduction - just deleting things that are superfluous to me during my time with the car.

I'll start a separate thread on the car in the 'Member's Porsche Gallery'.

Congratulations on the purchase Andy, it does look like a great car and I must admit I was more than a little tempted to go and look at this one myself just wasn't the right time for me.
