An error in the for sale description I would think.

Looking at the photo, the charcoal filter mounted on the fuel tank is plastic, which makes the 914 a mid-year 1974 model year which would have been fitted with 1.8 or 2.0 engine.
The engine code will confirm the size; the number on the C.o.A. only states the engine number, not the size.

I think they made an error on the year as the vin is 4732926537 which if i've done my research right it a 73 code?

Yes, it is a 73 model year.

The front has got holes for the over riders. There is a difference between early and later chrome rear bumpers - i'm sure Kev will be able to tell you if the thats early or later....
