I have an idea I know the sort of person who blatantly trades on the GOOD reputation of a fine organisation like PCGB, and there is only one thing to do. Offer to buy the trailer back for much more than he paid for it and throw in Fred Hampton's 356 and a years free membership of PCGB. AND make sure he doesn't have any access to a DDK banner or else it would be impossible to buy him off!

now this is the best bit .......... so funny Geff Ives is now admitting that the trailer they sold was unsafe for the road ...............

The trailer was a liability. It had to be serviced frequently and was not up to the job. I assume that it disposed of just as anything that had outlived it's usefulness (if any) as it cost money just to keep something of that nature. I have seen that trailer and have been involved with trying to set it up and beleive me I wouldn't have advertised it in PP. I wouldn't have wished it on any of our members. Well maybe just a couple of them.

i get the feeling that geoff might have sold it to a mate down the pub. so i bet his sweating buckets when ever a contract of sale is mentioned

i wonder if i should suggest that who ever is responsible for the sale should be made to clean up/sort out the mess.

Its gets better - have that many people got sense of humour by passes? That is without doubt the most entertaining thread on the PCGB forum for ages.

Only just got back to the UK and still catching up on various threads etc., but this one has to be the funniest for a long time.

Of course it's serious/outrageous/nonsense/an affront to Porsche (if they ever find out)/or a chance for the legal profession to interfere.

For me? Simply a good laugh and well worth the annual PCGB fee just to see how something can get so twisted............

Yes, Bootsy - you are a maestro when it comes to winding up the PCGB aristos (is that PC?) and you don't NEED to even pay the annual fee!!!, The thread on that site certainly sorted out the chickens from the ducks!!

Why is PCGb like a clockwork toy, wind them up and watch them go. Brilliant, simply brilliant.

from my point of view this comes down entirely to laziness.. if they'd spent 5mins removing the stickers before selling it on (and if its a "liability" you'd think they'd want to remove any association before off loading it) this problem would never had arrisen..

..on the other hand, its bloody funny
