Let the camera do the work, auto's a wonderful thing, but are there any particular
exposure issues you are having?
Thanks Mike and just caught up with this... no particular issues, mostly operator error! I use auto everything all the time and would like to re-learn the stuff I knew long ago so I'm trying to get back to thinking about what I'm doing a bit more (both concepts that are not exclusive to taking pictures ) Will chat next time I see you.
Heres the thing about shooting film...............
Snowed under since CLM, now in Ireland for August and scanning 17 rolls of 35mm pano film shot there, will have some up to see in next week or so.

I checked the Exif data Mike and it appears I used a Leica M9-P (a silver one) with a 50mm Summilux. It was exposed at ISO 800, 1/60th sec, f1.4.
I liked that shot too.
We had spent the whole of Saturday at the circuit and left to return to the Chateau and thence onward to a superb meal at a local restaurant.
The dish of the evening was the house special 'Marmite' (mar-meet), a lovely casserole of rabbit in a stock pot.
It took considerable resolve to stay sober and drive back to the track for a further session at night.
And yet those hours of darkness yielded the best photos and the most enjoyable time of the whole weekend.
It's a fabulous event. I'd urge you not to miss it next time.
Paul
I was in the top of the stands at about 0200, looked down ito pit lane and there you were, silver M9 blazing away!
Will get my act together more next time and be down there too............won't be shooting velvia 50 in an xpan lke this year though..........
