Now the lefthandside hingemounts are done and ready to be welded to the doorpost. Got to make the righthandside today.

BTW. Here's how I prepared the hinge mounts so the threaded pieced dont fall out when hinges are removed. Just like in in VW's originally.. :) Still allows some adjustment instead of treads directly into the mounts..

As the handbrake was a Prototype and not a finished product I started working on some drillingpatterns... :)

Also had to mock up the inner doorskins as previous builder had for some reason cut and started to shorten them about 2cm as he thought they would not fit the body.. Now I'm adding the same amount back onto them.... :P

Very cool are you planning to have mirror sweep, both out coming inwards? Mine are just simple left and right
