it was the one with my wife on the front cover - Sienna Miller, she wasnt looking her best if I'm honest.
it was in the back pages - small adverts - I noticed it as there was (opposite ) a picture of a SS daytona for another advert - I think the picture associated with Corr vintage watches was one of an Omega ( which was taken to the moon ? )

I'm sure that the were banging on about 'special watches' like the one that went to the moon, but looking at the site, I cant see any mention of special watches - just vintage ones... that said, there are some nice examples.
-on a side note - I'm a watch fan and have a number of self wind watches - can anyone recommend a watch box for 5 examples that 'shakes'? - and that doesnt cost a bucket-load of cash?

Has anyone used this company before? Im trying to contact them regarding one of their watches on their site, but have had no reply from an email, and they are not answering the phone at the moment...

I've realised I'd not pictured any of my watches.
So, to add a little to this thread, here's a couple.
I'll start with my 'Reverso'.
I've had this ten years or more, it's a Jaeger LeCoultre Grand Taille in gold on an ostrich strap.
Some times you just have to wear gold...

My silver Rolex Oyster with octagonal cushion case and wire lugs.
This one is from 1929. Silvered dial with arabic numerals and subsidiary seconds. Plenty 'wabi' and a bit 'shibui'.

Oh no - you can't just drop in a 'shibui' and walk off.
I need to know more - I've got plenty wabi - do I need to get some shibui as well

More changes on the watch front for me.
Sold my Panny
and bought a couple more and a new box!
Bought this - an RLT assembled in the UK with a Swiss Movement. Won't mean much to many unless they frequent the Watch Forum
and have this on it's way - a rare 1000M Heuer (pre tag) Divers

Tom, that 1000M Heuer is one lovely looking watch, IMHO the best looking on this thread so far.

They started in 79 and finished in the very early 80s. Not many about and especially not in this sort of condition. It's had it's seals replaced so I will use it in water!
There are quite a few Heuer Divers around but the 1000m version like this with the single screw crown at 4 o'clock is what makes this one on my list of must haves!
