Susuki four cylinder motor bike engine in a Westfield ( I think). Very quick at Prescott hill climb. Gear changes were very rapid; just a small lever to push/ pull in one plane.

Don’t think that’s a Westfield.

Westfields have extra sculpted bits on the shoulder of the bonnet and nose cone. They didn’t to start with then Caterham sued and they had to make them look less identical to the Lotus original.

And if you’re thinking I’m really cool for knowing that you’d be dead right.

Seen them close up at Race Retro etc. Great value for money imho, look at the work in that chassis for the money.

Throwback Thursday - a friend posted this picture of my old 1966 Karmann Ghia taken at an old VW Event at Santa Pod back in the 90s - good times and a great car that one - quite fancy a Ghia again at some point.
