The hotel for the evening was at Frankfurt airport, for two reasons, location on route and of course you can park your car outside your room and come up to your floor in a car lift! Well why not 
A great meal overlooking the airport then ready to head back to the ferry in the morning as a storm descended for our first real weather of the trip. It was at this point that a Nomad suddenly looked like a really bad idea!
Another points related breakdown on the autobahn was not peak fun, but back up and running to the ferry
Home the next day without drama, tired but happy to spend time with great people on great roads doing what we should do with our cars
