So, approx how many miles do we need to cater for?
I'm with pmjt - my rep 'might' manage 16-18mpg if we take it easy - but knowing hot66 there will be no chance of that!
Jerry can, mobile phone, RAC card, Visa card. Carrying all that I might even get a worse fuel consumption!

Hi Mick, looking forward to getting the 'reps' together. I'm with you on the fuel thing, just might have to take it easy and give the others a chance.
cheers, Mike.

From past experience don't take it easy or you'll be left meandering around the wastes of North Yorkshire. Very pretty it is, but it's also a l-o-n-g way to a fuelling stop.
More weight - bring an OS map or maybe sat nav gear? Even we 'locals' get lost.....
Be interesting to compare notes and to measure up to the 'proper' RS's.

The miles are not huge on Saturday, its just they technical miles and take a bit of time to cover. Remember, there will be plenty of tourists getting in our wayMick Cliff wrote:So, approx how many miles do we need to cater for?

I have not actually measured the distance, but I think we will be doing around 100 miles
Mick, the bit we did the other day was the afternoon session & that wasn't too far. The Morning run is over the tops to Hawes & along to Masham.
There is a petrol station at Masham (our lunch stop) so there is an opportunity to refuel there.
Sunday is again about 80 miles, but we are having a fuel stop at Scotch Corner services, about 20 miles from the CB Inn.
Basically if you are near full for Sat morning you should be OK
Remember, these are the kind of roads we are driving, not designed for high speed

"Remember, these are the kind of roads we are driving, not designed for high speed"
Yeah, right. Not designed for high speed, for sure, but not strangers to occasional high speeds either! After 'squirrelling' over the tank roads the other day on the 'trial run' with the Northern quorum, it took some time to get the seat squab off my backside!
Must remember to take double blood pressure tablets on the day.....

I'm good-to-go as well: hopefully most of the TR will make it (unless it expires over the next fortnight): I say 'most': there's a good chance that the interior will still be spread across the kitchen floor
.
Otherewise looking foward to seeing everyone again
