What time are you guys all getting there?

I have to leave around 7pm and I am sure it will take around an hour and half to get there...

:( I may have to miss this one boys.

1 1/2 hours !! clearly you've not tried to go north up the M1 recently !
Add an hour to that, probably just for the Roadworks section.....
Seriously, if you aren't leaving till 7:00, it might get a bit late ...
You are getting priorities wrong mate... Work getting in the way ! Just wait till the Mrs starts re-prioritising your time

My parents 1925 Renault and a Wind sock on the end of a great big long fishing pole to make it easier to find.

Well worth the drive up Tim, a huge meet with some some serious bits of kit there. I’ll definitely try and make another, although I’ll aim for a earlier arrival/longer stay next time, made it back in about 1hr 40 including a fuel stop  , I actually spent most of it trying to catch up with this I saw pulling out of the services as I got out to re-fuel, unusual to see one on the road

Image

by the time we caught up the little 914 was HOT, but worth it to see this cruising along

Didn’t take many pictures but here are a few, starting with this lovely Bugatti 8)

This was apparently powered by a 14 litre engine

And a nice black 914

A huge meet, anyone who lives fairly near should go to this, a really nice setting with loads of interesting machinery

What can I say, a great evening despite the weather. I couldn't believe the turnout, better each year ! I've not seen the likes of the Bugatti, or the 14ltr Panhard Levassor before, and the line of 3 Fraser Nash's too ! And parked next to my parents 1932 Monaquatre Renault was Bau's speedster, it is beautifully finished, a credit to the work that he has put in. Good to see Darren make the journey too, glad your trip home was easier than the trip up. Sorry to anyone who turned up and I missed, there's always next month, 11th of July 8)

I went, but didn't take the 550 - too much chance of a downpoor. Great event though, I was amazed by the turnout! Good to meet Bau (like the speedster, nicely finished), sorry I missed Tim and Darren (nice 914!)

I'll try and make it on the 11th, assuming I make it back from Le Mans the day before.
